MUNSTER DEVELOPMENT MEET – LEVEL 2
Well done to our ‘Super 7’ who made the journey to Waterford Crystal last Sunday to take part in the Munster Development Meet Level 2 event.

It was great to see so many super PBs, level 1 (grade A) times achieved and plenty of medals make their way back to Fermoy.

APPEAL FOR PARENTS TO ATTEND THIS SUNDAY’S A.G.M.
Our club AGM will be held on Sunday, November 26 in Fermoy Pitch and Putt clubhouse, with a start time of 7pm.
Under Swim Ireland rules, certain club positions must be vacated after 3 years, so this year we need nominations for the positions of chairperson and treasurer, along with some other committee roles.
As you know, the club cannot exist without a committee so we are really hoping for plenty of nominations and volunteers.
Please mark the date in your diary, we hope as many parents as possible will attend.

There will be a draw on the night for those who attend, with a prize of 1 free membership
AWARDS
This year our awards ceremony will be held on the same night as the AGM and will be held before the start of the AGM itself.
The awards, which are based on the swimming year September 2016 to July 2017, will be for swimmers in the following squads – Swordfish, Marlins, Sailfish, Dolphins, Sharks and Torps (Glofish squads were awarded their certificates before the summer break).
Categories for each squad will include Best Attendance, Most Improved, and Best to Train, and of course the winner of the overall award of Swimmer of the Year will be announced.
Following our awards ceremony we will have a buffet for the swimmers, and the hope is that the parents will attend the AGM while the swimmers enjoy some well earned food! We hope to have a really good crowd.
