The club are hosting a Safeguarding 1 course in Fermoy Education Centre on Wednesday, March 13.
It is great to be able to hold a course locally and we would encourage parents to please sign up for it. Clubs such as ours can only survive if volunteers continue to step up.
Safeguarding is needed by anyone involved with a sports club for children, and this course transfers across all sports, so if you do it with us it will cover any involvement you may have in say a GAA club or a cycling club also.
