Swim Ireland Congress and EGM

Dear Swim Ireland Members,

A quick reminder that the Swim Ireland Congress and EGM will be happening next Saturday 8th October on the National Sports Campus. The Congress is an opportunity for membership to share their views in an open forum with staff, committee members and each other.

The day will be organised into a series of discussions. Olympic and Paralympic athletes Nicholas Quinn and Ellen Keane will be amongst the panelists invited to give their ‘Reflections on Rio’ alongside sports psychologist Steven Mc Ivor. The second half of the Congress will be a
discussion of the coach/athlete relationship with Paralympics Performance Director Dave Malone and Ireland’s Olympic Diving coach Damian Ball.

There will be a Youth Congress running in parallel open to any young member of 13 and over.
