I started swimming at 6 years of age, then competed for my hometown swimming club for 5 years. Later, as a teenager, I was involved in coaching young kids and swimming myself for the National Czech Red Cross – lifeguards for the next 6 years. After my study of Traveling and Tourism, I came to the Ireland to improve my English language. I have decided to stay here to live and have two daughters, which are involved in swimming since they were babies, and continue with teaching and coaching swimming. I hold the RLSS Lifeguard qualification, UKCC level 2 teaching, UKCC level 1 Coaching and I am presently working on level 2 Coaching with Jackie Power.
