#WePlay: Inspiring Girls in Sport – Swim Ireland Conference

Swim Ireland will be running a Conference entitled #WePlay: Inspiring Girls in Sport on Thursday, 6th July on the National Sports Campus in the Indoor Arena. The Conference is funded through the Sport Ireland Women in Sport Programme.

We are hoping to have 500 females aged 12-18 from about 10 sports to attend on the day. I have included a draft schedule below. We will have a number of high profile athletes in attendance with Olympic Psychologist Niamh Fitzpatrick also speaking on the day.

Swim Ireland is delighted to offer the Conference to all regional squad members free of charge. As well as the girls attending we would also like to invite regional squad boys to the Campus for the day where Swim Ireland will have arranged a number of activities. As you’ll see at the end we are also hoping to let the girls try out some of the other sports on the day.

The conference is also open to all Swim Ireland Club members at a cost of €10 and can be booked here.
