This Gala was being swam over the 50m distance known as long course. All the Munster clubs were at the same venue so competition for medals was very hot.

Cess Kouwenberg achieved his Grade 1 100m Breaststroke time so he now has 3 of his Grade 1 times which means he is now a qualified Munster Grade 1 swimmer. He won silver in his 200m IM and 100m Fly and bronze in the 100m Breaststroke.
