Steve Redmond, the first human to complete the Oceans Seven Challenge.

The theme running through his talk will be ‘motivation’. The event, which is free of charge, will take place in the Anderson Room at the Youth Centre on Ashe Quay and there will be refreshments served afterwards.

Back in July 2012, Steve, an Irish amateur swimmer, became the first in the world to complete a gruelling swim of seven open water channels.

On Sunday, Steve will be happy to talk about his training, and answer any questions from the floor.

BTC is offering this event free of charge and it is open to anyone interested in attending.

This might be of particular to our sharks and torps swimmers, all welcome!
