On Sunday, May 28th, our grade 3 swimmers head for Waterford Crystal to take part in the Munster Grade 3 gala. Warm-up 9am for a 10am starting time. Medals will be presented in 7-11, 12/13, 14+ age groups. Best of luck to everyone travelling – have a fun day.
Training continues for our Torpedo squad who are focusing on the Munster & Connacht Age Groups, which takes place in UL from June 2-4.
Jane Savage, Dean Savage, Ben Terry and Jack Duggan, who all swim the 500m race for the RNLI in Dunmore East recently. Dean won second place in the event.

Dolphins can train with the Sharks on Tuesdays (6pm – 6.45pm), Wednesdays (5pm – 5.45pm) and Saturdays (8am – 10am) starting Tuesday, June 13, until Saturday, June 17.
Sharks with one Grade 2 time can train with Torpedoes Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (6.15am – 7.45am) and Saturday & Sundays (5pm – 7pm) starting Tuesday, June 13.

Fermoy Swimming Club were represented at last weekend’s Swim Ireland AGM in the National Aquatic Centre, Dublin, which was well attended. The new brand identity for Swim Ireland was launched, along with their new strategic plan for 2017 to 2021. Further details will be availble in due course on the SI website.
